Looking good. Interesting regarding the floor boards. I installed new front and rear floor panels on my '42 GPW. I wish I had thought about placing them on the frame prior to installing. Never crossed my mind. Mine didn't fit very well either. I had to move my pedal holes in the floor over about on inch so I could insert the brake and clutch pedals into the lever below. Also had issues with several other mounting points. Since my floors were already installed to the tub when I placed on the frame, I had to use my porta-power to make some adjustments. I recall fitting some floor to frame bolts and using my porta-power to "fine tune" in order to get other bolts installed. It's been a while. I know I ranted about it on my rebuild thread.

I fixed the floor pan. There was a lot of excess material that was interfering with the master cylinder and clutch pedal that had to be cut back. It seems to fit good now.

Started work on the tub again today. Cutting away years of rot and bubba ingenuity.

Are those Midwest tool panels? I am actually going to try to form my own. I now see how you welded. These pictures are larger than on Facebook.

Today I repaired the area where the hood bolts. It looked as if something hit it, because it was creased. There is a piece missing as if something was torn out. I don't know what goes there.
