That's fantastic. I had a niece at that age that could name every part of a dragster and amazed the drivers at the drag strip. She is going to look good in it. I bet she is in the first parade in it with you for sure.

Looking good Claude! You feel free to send Bella my way anytime. I need an ACE mechanic! I obviously don't know what I'm doing!

Oh Danny you are doing very well it seems on your build. It is nice to know a fellow GPer swings in to take a look at my thread thank you for your Interest.AS MY Heater for the Auto Shelter quit working on me,i haven't done a whole lot on the Front Diff.Have been collecting most of the bearings and races. The Steering Knuckle Seals are special to the BRC and GP only so I will have to find a source for those.Mean while I am working on the tear down of the Engine Block that will end up in GP-9687.This Engine will get special treatment,i am working with my buddys machine shop and we are going to push the limits on building a very hot Camshaft, valve train, tweek the bore and stroke, and larger size pistons. To see if we can get somewhere close to 60 Horse Power or Greater!!!!! Sounds pretty Cool Right! 8)

This is what the Steering Knuckle Seals mount in to hold the Grease in,and keep the Dirt and Water out.I am also looking for inner and outer Axle Seals, and the two Brass/Bronze Bushings on the inner part of the Hub Stem!! And I found a Victor Grease Seal with a F Script Marking on it,so I should be able to cross that seal to get the Hub Seals I need!

Those steering knuckle seals look exactly like the ones from a MB/GPW. Are they different sizes? You may be able to find new rubbers on eBay.

Thanks Luke for your Observations, while they are very much the same they still accomplish the same Job.Here i will show the differences. And while the parts would probably work just fine,I think i will hold off for a bit to see if i can find OEM parts. If i were to use the parts i would have to Discard the Original GP Retainers. And i would rather wait it out for a bit,for the correct seals to be found. To be able to keep this Axle as it should be.

As you might have noticed, the GP Retainers are thick and have a double edge to hold the Half Seals in place.Plus their are two seal pieces per half retainer. While the Retainers are made of steel and somewhat thin and Knuckle Seal for that application is a one piece seal.

Now to set in place The MB/GPW Felt Gasket and Retainer. And it all looks pretty good,it has a little Generic look to it but it would probably work in a pinch!

What you show as "MB parts" are aftermarket parts most closely associated With CJ parts.

If your email doesn't work, can you post an email?

I'll email you a pic of the steering knuckle seals and where to get them (they are in the US). Also, there are 3 types of axle shaft joints. Rezeppa, bendix and one I can't remember. Each type joint has a slightly different bushing/seal setup. Your GP probably has Rzeppas, identifiable by 6 big balls in the joint. That being the case, you need the non-flanged bushing AND the seal (standard type rubber and metal press in seal.) someone has sold you those flange bushings not knowing what you need. I bought them too, that's how I know they won't work.

The only difference between the GP and the GPW front diff is the axle tube length (and obviously the actual axle). GPW axle centers are even marked "GPxxxx".
