Michael... what a great job you have done! Impressive and inspiring! I loved the video with the time lapse... simply awesome. Can't wait to see more pictures of you out driving it now.

Well, this has been a really great project, but I would like to start a new project soon. It's been a very hard decision, but I have decided to sell this GPW to fund my next project.

I just posted it for sale here on the G503. I have it listed under "Selling newly restored 1943 GPW "

If anyone is interested, check it out!

Thanks,
Michael

Good luck on the sale of your GPW Michael! It's not like you could describe it's condition any better than having a thread documenting your maticulous restoration. 8) I thought about you as I drove through Tehachapi in the we hours of the morning this morning. The fog was brutal as it was still dark out!

Take care,
Zeph

It just sold (pending funds). What an awesome project it has been. I hope the new owner enjoys it as much as I have.

And the fun begins!

Great acquisition and project.

Cannot stress taking lots of pictures enough.

They come in handy when reassembling...
