New wall finished!

Post by SteveG » Sun May 04, 2014 4:09 pm

Just finished a new wall in the shop. All the items displayed are original WWII, with the exception of the Hammer Field and USAFI (WWII era US Army Flight Instructor) signs. These are courtesy of AZ Jeff. Thanks! The Harley WLA poster is one of my favorite things and goes along with my 41WLA and 42WLA's. The Armistice Day poster is from Salem OR. Maybe that hall is still there?? The Sperti poster goes along with my WWII USAAF Astrograph made at the same plant. The "Let's Go" poster is a Hungarian themed poster from 1942 at Harm's Park in Chicago. That park is no longer there. The vehicle sitting below the posters on the wall is my 1943 Ford Moto-Tug used at the Barstow-Daggett Modification Center here in CA during the war to tow WWII aircraft that were sent there for modifications prior to deployment to different theaters of the war. The TV is on a super rare M-2006 Pivoting TV Mount.....

Looks very nice.

Is this part of a museum or a private shop?

Regardless, nice.

Your country, a rifle.

Keep all of them clean.

Thanks. Not a museum, just my shop. Go to the first topic on this board titled Home Front to see more photos of my shop.

Steve, That's a total posed picture. It's really a greasy mess most of the time....

Looks great Steve!

By the way, It was a pleasure to meet you at TP, and the NDT tires and wheels look fantastic installed on my WC54. Thanks again.

Cheers,
Zeph
