FDR Photo

Post by thompsonbarrels » Sat Oct 21, 2017 10:35 pm

Hello and thanks for taking time to read this. I am looking for what is typically seen as the picture of FDR found in government buildings during his Presidency/wartime, any leads one one?

Thank you.

I have several campaign posters from 1937 . They have a nice picture. I have them in storage so I will have to dig them out. If interested message me with cell# and I will send a pic when I find them. here is it on ebay. I would sell much cheaper than this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Very-R ... 1438.l2649

What you are looking for is referred to as his "Official Photo". It will likely be close to what's in this eBay link....

I imagine the "real deal" would have been provided by the Government Printing Office instead of the Philadelphia Record, but if you played with the matting and framing, it would be pretty darn close.
