Why tow one ...
When you can tow three.
Two 1950 versions of the M19 ski / wheel trailer made by Saginaw Products for the M7 Snow tractor, with a 1944 original at the back.
I should have some better images somewhere. Will try to find them and post them into this post.

So, how about a photo of them being towed in the snow with the skis down?

Love to, Mark, unfortunately it has been dry and sunny here ever since I finished them.
The one time it did snow the neighbours piled it in front of my garage and I couldn't get the Sno-Cat out
It's on the 'to do ' list though I should have some original images of them on snow but not here - will have a look for something suitable.

I am new to the boards and I am in the catch up mode. What are the tops "canvas" made out of?

Re: Why tow one ...
The tops are made out of two layers of normal military canvas, green on one side, white on the other and reversible.
All the heater flue holes and exhaust holes are doubled up and have metal sleeves, and the whole thing is quilted, trapping a layer of insulation between the two faces, plus there are two windows each side and front / back flaps.
I'd guess the tops cost the same to make as the whole of the rest of the trailer.

Re: Why tow one ...
Are the top bows available anywhere?

Re: Why tow one ...
Morning Mark
I'm not aware of anyone who has spare bows, in fact I'm short of one set myself. They are basically just tube - probably 1" with some minor attachments and should be relatively easy to make, although the curve at each end is a little odd and might need a bit of experimentation to get it right. The end bows have the swing-down support for the weight of the stretchers I remember.
Best plan would be to borrow one bow, or I could always do you a sketch.
