Re: British Airbourne Trailer
hello reg .
looks like its one from a chap in derbyshire. his name eludes me at this time . he has about 4 /5 for sale all around the £1500 mark . the bodys are new build repro . all done very well . it may not have the original suspension set up as the ones i saw a while ago only had the leaf spring set up..........
regards C.H.W

Hi Reg,
As has been said, looks like a rebuilt body. It needs the two folding handles which are currently missung form the lighweight hitch.
Some photos of my very similar Lightweight No1 Mk2 at:

Looks like one of Richard Brereton's. I've got one currently shipping from the UK to the US.

Re: British Airbourne Trailer
At the rear of the trailer, what is that vertical plate and pole for?
Is it meant to tow another trailer?

Yes - there should be a tow hook attached to the metal plate.yez216 wrote:At the rear of the trailer, what is that vertical plate and pole for?

These are in differing sizes depending on when the trailer was made, by whom and what you want to tow behind it... so a bigger gap between the jaws of the tow hook is required to tow the 75mm Pack Howitzer, than that required to tow another trailer.
