I'm in the process of replacing my Dad's wiring harness on his M151A1 and ran into a problem with the electric windshield wiper. First, his jeep has an A2 windshield. While trying to disconnect the connection from the wiper motor the terminal pin broke off. Is this fixable? How? Also, how difficult is it to remove the wiper motor?
Thanks,
Steve A.

Re: M151A2 wiper motor questions
The pins on the harness connections are crimped onto the wire and require a specialized tool to replace them but with some patience they can be soldered on. Using a silver solder is preferable to standard tin/lead and by no means use plumbers solder as it has a high acid content in the flux. The motor removal is a simple, straight forward procedure. A couple bolts hold it onto the windshield and a couple more hold the motor onto the mount.

Thank you for the response. I will have to take the motor off and see what I can do.
Thanks,
