I have yet to find any good pictures of the differences in the M151A1 and the M151A1C. I am interested in the changes in the body and the locking fixtures for the rear as well as the spare tire bracket and barrel support. Also, is there a TM that would give me information for such?
Thanks, Mike

there is very little official documentation covering the conversion of vehicles from M151A1 to A1C. I wrote several times to Rock Island Arsenal as well as Red River Army Department but never received the courtesy of a reply. I'd love to see the conversion instructions too !
There was no separate driver's TM. The ordinary TM9-2320-218-10/20/34 series covered driving and maintenance but there are no details of the specialist fixtures and fittings of the A1C (likewise with the M825)
There are some photos of the A1C in FM23-82 "106-MM Recoilless Rifle M40A2" dated 30 July 1973 which shows some detail but the FM 's focus is on the rifle itself.
Hope this helps.....

Well, I guess that the next step would be to look in the MVPA Reference Guide to try to find a C1 somewhere close. The 106 is not a problem but the M151 would need to be correct. Anyone know of a unit in the South Central States?

Contact Tom Murray at TNJ Murray in Delaware. I saw his at the Sussex show in the spring, a very complete restoration with all original parts
