I know that this does not fit a MUTT, but I need help in figuring our what it does fit. More barn haul stuff. It is 24 volts but only 10 amps. WWII type electrical hookups. I can only think that it would be for a generator or some type of duel voltage regulator application. Anybody?? Thanks, Kevin.

Re: Voltage Regulator ID Quest.
Not necessarily, WC , Weasel, Half Track, GPA and larger trucks had 12 Volt.
A quick check indicates the one Kevin has is Auto-Lite VAS 4001A 24 Volt 10Amp, The VAS 4001 uses a GGF Series Generator which is an (GGF-5101A) Auto-Lite Group 2B Generator. Only thing I can think of is that an APU for Tanks or Aircraft may have used this or possibly a battery charging generator. The 28 Volt Homelites in Tanks had Delco Systems, but the AAF had APU's for aircraft during WWII.
