Alley Cats come from Sam's Surplus Sales, Stanton Texas.... Hey, he had to do something with all those old M151 parts lol... they went out of favor once real hmmv's started to get to the public, but you could still get one from him I guess...

I remember someone making a similar looking vehicle out of a 4 wheel drive Chevrolet 1/2 ton chassis years ago.

Brad,
I think you need to haul it out here to be properly fitted with new vinyl seats and enclosure.

I have a similar one that we built. Got it to the point that it is driveable and needs paint and detailing, but it's been in the barn for the last several years being ignored.

Is it for sale?

Dave,

You're right, it has some aftermarket seats probably the optional Recaro's!

I'll be visiting the repair shop this weekend that is replacing the rear diff. assembly. And try to get some more info. Where do I look for any additional ID plates?

I do not think it is for sale at this time.

I take it from most of the feedback that this is not a factory or govt. built unit.
