Finally Home
The wife and I just rolled in with the 64' M38A1 I posted about a few nights ago, and were both chomping at the bit to get started on her.Sure glad the guy decided to sell when he did, a couple more winters out in the elements and it would have gotten ugly,even gladder I got it. Here's a few pics and the first of I hope not too many stupid questions, what were those round things on the back for, at first I thought they were for Jerry cans but now I think not

Body details indicate that it was once an MRC-83 USMC Radio Unit.
"Round things on the back"; are you referring to the bumperettes? (which are mounted upside down)

Interesting,what kind of details should I be looking for,it would be awesome to be able to know some history about this Jeep.I will post more pics, if you need more to be sure.Thanks Kev.
