My M38A1 project.
Hello fellow jeepers, Thought I would take the time and post some pictures of my 53' M38A1 that I am working on. I started my jeep project last year in February, it's been my obsession ever since. I didn't go with a frame off restoration, I went more for the as I call it "poor mans restoration". 98% of the more expensive parts such as Top bows, blackout lights and seats were taken off before I got it but I got most of them back. I painted and sanded the whole thing by myself in my off time from work, I have always been into willys since I was young, when other kids wanted sports cars I wanted a "Army jeep". I'm 18 so a lot of people don't think it's my jeep haha, when I tell them I own it they look at me like, "really"? I also got a summer top for it and I am working on a m1919a4 to add on my custom mount I built. Thanks for looking, have a good one.

Thanks! That's how I look at it, I would rather have it original than have it painted yellow with huge tires and a v8. Im located in Southern California.
