[attachment=8] 1952 M-38 Just came out of a long sleep original owner bought it from government in 1968 (see number on driver side panel) Drove it for 1 year and stored it in his garage until I bought it about 3 months ago. I believe it had 1 government rebuild otherwise unrestored. Original tires dated 1952 (see photo), nothing has been replaced expect air cleaner hose and upper radiator hose. Runs and drives great

Very nice original M-38. Only issue I can see is that the vacuum wiper motors are not the waterproof type that it had when it came out of the factory. Still, a superb unmolested M-38. Congratulations. 8)

Nice Jeep Those data plates; use some "clear coat" safe rubbing compound available at Autozone or Orielys. My originals really looked good after doing this and all that ugly film will come off, most of it. I then sprayed some of that spray wax on and looks really good. Just a thought. John

Wow. Nice.
I that top original issue? I note that the rear window has square corners whilst some repros have round corners. Which is right?
