The G838 is a unitized body so there is no sperate frame like you would see on let's say a WWII GPW jeep. If you have a complete set of frame "spars" & outriggers from an M151 minus the body then someone removed the body tub with cutting tools. That's the only way to separate the two. The tubs are basically the same size where you might run into problems is that the A2 has a trailing arm suspension and the A1 uses a "A" arm type of suspension. Good luck with your project!

The A1 is called a "swing arm" suspension. Eric, If you have a good A1 body then you also have a good A1 frame. Build an A1 from it. :mrgreen:
