Hello
My Name is Hubert and i'm from Austria.
Found a Story about two English Men who discovered this Scrapyard just a few years ago.
They tried to buy a WW2 Tank there and do this Pic's.
Maybe Hotschkiss and some original ones ?
I also have a Willys MB and a Ford GPW.
So i'm very sad to see this beautys rotten in the Sand

Re: Military Srapyard in Afrika/Tschibutti.Treasure of Jeeps
These are well-know photo's, there were also GMC's, Dodges, halftracks and even a Sherman there. The Sherman and at least one of halftracks have been recovered since then. The scrapyard is right next to the Djibouti airport.
