Looking for Photo

Post by Old Pal » Tue May 10, 2016 12:13 am

I'm looking for a picture I've seen in the past of a GPW or MB on the assembly line, rolling frame only (I can't remember if it had the drivetrain in it), and it was getting painted. Does anyone know where to find it or remember seeing it?

I have seen the film clip the still photo was taken from. It was part of the "Nothing But WWII Jeeps" video set. I also saw it in the Reader's Digest "The Home Front" WWII set. I don't know where you could find the still photo separately, though.
Is it true real Jeeps have flat fenders?
Alone cannot you it resist!

I have posted this one before. Always enjoy watching this. Not a photo, but some spraying on the assembly line:

Man, it's no wonder there were runs in the paint. That guy's sprayer was squirting out like a fire hose! None of this 'mist coat' stuff!
