M-38A1 GROUP HUG

Post by Joe Gopan » Wed May 13, 2015 5:01 pm

M-38A1 and friends at MOTOR STABLES 2015.
M-38A1 Dash makes a good Billboard for GI decals. All are Legit, Good Driver, Radio Warning, Silicone Brake Fluid, Bell Housing Drain Plug, and Airdrome Runway Crossing Signals. Compliments of Rick Larsen.
These trucks have been in my stable a long time. MB(1971), M-38A1(1975), and CCKW(1983) They give me a taste of the Army again while keeping my PM skills sharp.

NOTE the contrast of the original Willys factory 2430 OD Paint on the instrument panel and that of the genuine GI Issue 24087 SG OD on the dash panel.

My Baby since 1975, have put over 70,000 trouble free enjoyable miles on it and it still looks new.

Just got our first snow of the season, can't wait for Spring. These pics give me something to look forward to.

Joel, seems a bit late to have gotten your first snow in mid-December all the way up in Maine?! Great looking family, though, and I completely agree that pictures and the smell of canvas in my garage keep me excited and looking forward to spring

There is no greater feeling than the first roll out of the year and the familiar wake up sound of the different engines as they eagerly fire off on first try. NOCO Genius smart chargers for the long hibernation are a good investment.
