WW2 Jeep Related

Postby gerrykan » Fri Jan 20, 2012 2:07 pm

These images were made from scanned negatives.
The negatives were to large for the film adapter that came with my scanner, so I had to scan them as photos.
This caused them to have a faded appearance, so I tweaked the contrast, brightness, etc.
I can email the original scans, if someone who is good at photo editing wants to try their hand at enhancing them.

These came from Germany, but I do not know what year the photos were taken.

Each photo features a different man, so the jeep may belong to the woman in the pictures.
It makes a person wonder how she may have paid for the jeep.

You're right Jon. The shadow in the first shot made me think that he had a mustache, and the camera angle in the last one makes the man's coat look longer, but it is the same length as the woman's in each photo.
I guess I owe the woman an apology for my earlier comment.

I assume that is the turn signal flipper things(can't remember the name) that were used in Europe on the front windscreen.
