G503 Military Vehicle Message Forums

This is a follow up to a previous post. I now have a limited number of reproduction hubcaps available for sale for the M3A4 Hand Cart. The reproductions are die stamped in the correct thickness steel and were duplicated from an original hubcap removed from a 1943 Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) M3A4 Hand Cart. According to the Army Manual this hubcap (part number A164570) was also used on the M4A1 and M6A1 Hand Carts. The cost for one hubcap is $40.00 plus shipping (USPS flat rate Priority Mail is $6.45) The price is much higher than we would have liked, but the low production quantity makes it a time consuming labor intensive process. There are no numbers stamped on the hubcaps as it would have just added additional costs. The original takeoff hubcaps from the 1943 RIA Cart that were copied had no numbers stamped on them. The pictures show the original takeoff hubcap (painted green) next to one of the new reproduction hubcaps. I will include a new computer cut gasket with each reproduction hubcap.
