Here are 2 photos of German trailers. If the side racks are removed the similarity is very close. The only differences seem to be the foot rest leg, flatter wider tires and of course the side racks. David

I can think of several WWII German MV's that were copied/produced by foreign countries:

- Volvo produced the their copy of the Demag 1 ton halftrack

- The Cheks produced the German slope armoured halftrack 0T810A??? I forgot the exact model number

- Swiss? produced the Hetzger antitank tank

- Sweden also make a dead ringer of the 1938 era Panzer tank, again I'm forgetting model numbers

I've forgotten a bunch more and got some of the details wrong here but the point is many German vehicles seemed to have been copied by other countries. David

They all have 3 modes of hauling:
1- pulled by 1, 2 or 3 soldiers with a T bar fixed to center pole pulled all the way out and/or slings/harness also used
2- pulled by one or 2 horses or mules or donkeys. 2 poles if by one animal, 1 center pole (pintle eye pole pulled out to full length) with wiffletree if 2 animals
3- motorcycle or jeep. In this case the center pole is pulled out halfway

An unlimited train of them can be linked together

I'm from the Netherlands, and my German is pretty okay.
There's no real difference between German and Swiss, there's just a different way of speach just as there is between people from Texas versus California etc.
