An Interesting PE-95-H

Post by TwoCar » Mon Mar 07, 2016 9:36 am

Hello.

Last week, I picked up this genset with a GPW engine. The engine does not have any rebuild tags on it, but does have a flaming bomb on the blank serial number pad. More information about the flaming bomb can be found on this thread--> viewtopic.php?f=4&t=269943&p=1573810#p1573810 Tom translated the casting number to August 12, 1943, and it runs beautifully. I just wanted to share this information with the genset community.

Very nice. I see the 88000 matches up the block and generator. As I said in the other forum post, those gensets that dont have a matching number, probably had service replacements. That could have been either the generator frame or the engine......

What happened to that 5KW one you had posted on here?
