Navy "Power Unit N-15" with rebuilt original MB engine for sale.
O'Keef & Merrit manf.
Runs great, produces 220 3 phase, 220 single, and 120V power, 49 Amps.
Was the back-up for a local Navy electronics facility.
Prior owner had the engine rebuilt, very few hours use since rebuild.
Has temperature and oil pressure safety relays.
A couple of the Volt/Amp gauges do not work and should be replaced.
Makes good power, I have used it to run welders, or two large travel trailers with AC at the same time.
Really too nice a unit to just use for parts, if all you really want is the engine let me know, I will re-power the generator portion with something else.
Not certain of manufacture date, the fellow who pointed me to this forum thinks it is W.W.II
Looking for best offer around $1000.00
Happy to fire it up if you want, it ALWAYS starts, even in the coldest weather.
Located in Gardnerville Nevada, fifty miles from Reno, fifteen miles from Lake Tahoe.
It is sitting on an unregistered but functional trailer.

Re: Navy "Power Unit N-15" with RBLT MB engine FS
Finally sold.
Loaded onto the buyers trailer using my vintage MoTowLift ex-Airforce single mast forklift, rated at 4000#.
Lots of interesting stuff turns up here in Nevada, a lot of it ex-Navy.
I know the locations of a couple of Jeep Bomb trucks in need of restoration.
