Sorry I'm late in posting info here. It's been a busy spring, both legislatively and on the farm.

The Senate hearing went well, but one guy testified against the bill, who knows why. One Senator is currently seeking more info from his constituents. The Senate Transportation Committee chair wants the bill to pass, so he's delaying the vote in hopes of unanimous passage in committee.

A public hearing was held last Tuesday, before the Assembly Transportation Committee, which went very well. Both Tom and I testified "for" the bill, and nobody testified against it. We're currently awaiting a vote from both the Senate and Assy. Trans. Committees.

Things have also been delayed because of budget negotiations which have begun already. We're still very optimistic about passage, but it's just moving slowly right now.

Today the Assembly Transportation Committee voted unanimously for passage of this bill.

It will now go to the full Assembly for a vote. We're still working toward passage in the Senate, and then it will go before the Governor.

Thanks for all your support in these efforts. Stay tuned for developments...

Today, the Senate Transportation Committee voted 5-0 In Favor of our bill.

This means we have gotten the unanimous approval of the Transportation Committees in both houses, the Senate and the Assembly. The next step is a floor vote before the full Senate and the full Assembly. If they both pass our bill, then we just need the Governor to sign it.

The legislature will be convening for full sessions beginning Sept. 17th. Our bill will be heard by each house sometime after that.

This is correct!! We just need Gov. Walker's signature to make this the law of the land!

No more will former military vehicles be denied registration over a missing Certification Label, at least here in Wisconsin! If you hold a legal title to the vehicle, you can get registered.

It will also allow vehicles registered as Collectors to have slight modifications, just so long as the body is maintained unmolested.

It will also allow those vehicles registered as HMV (Historic Military Vehicle) to be used for occasional personal uses and to keep "parts" vehicles on your property.

Win, win, win!

A HUGE Thank You to all of you who helped to support this effort. I could not have been done without you.

Congratulations :!: Your support of the hobby is what I would like to see more of from all of us. Without your effort, collectively we all would have lost. On behalf of all military vehicle owners, thank you :!:

The system works when you have the facts, present them properly and have intelligent and persistent presenters. You guys rock and should run for office.

I listened to an interview with Governor Walker on the radio the other day and he seems to be a practical and intelligent man. I have faith that he will sign. So not to put a hex on ya's for early congrats, let me just say…HOORAH and thanks for all your hard work.
