Thinking of selling my M38a1 Project
I have a 1952 M38a1 project I picked up last year that I am thinking about selling. It was a restoration started about 10 years ago that never got finished by the previous owner. I bought it as you see here. The motor was rebuilt, and the frame was finished and painted and that is where it was left. I purchased a whole new brake system for it, but have yet to install it. I noticed the frame had the machine gun mount and voltage regulator mounts cut off, but I have replacements to weld back on. Body is in pretty good shape. It has a few repair spots that need to be finished. I have most or the parts to put it back together. It was a Marine Corps jeep. I can get more pics of all the parts, here are just a few. I will even include an M100 trailer if anyone is interested. Its a project too. But I could make a package deal. I'm located in Chattanooga, TN. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. Looking to get back what I've got into it which is $1500. Thanks!

Re: Thinking of selling my M38a1 Project
Hello,
Interested in the M38A1, I will be in the area Nov.3-5 weekend. What is easier to list what is missing or what is not missing? You bought it already as a basket case I take it? I'm currently working on a 54. Do very much like working on and the inherent history of the M38A1.
Let me know if you are still considering selling and if you are available this coming weekend.
Thank You.
