M38A1 (M38) Parts - Going to Findlay
I'm going to The Findlay, Ohio, meet and have some parts that I could haul along if anyone is interested. Haven't had time to figure out prices but will be glad to discuss it if you see something you need.
- All seats plus two sets of rear seat cushions.
- Air filter less the mushroom intake
- front floor panels
- Glove box door
- windshield frame
- crossover tube
- windshield frame bumpers (the ones that protect the wipers)
- dashboard (not the instrument panel)
- hood with shovel bracket (2)
-bumperettes
-pintle hitch
-gas can mount
-brake handle
-headlight ring
-thumbscrew type battery compartment cover
--CJ5 grill, headlight buckets (1962)
-----Found some more:
•24 volt starter
•24 volt generator (note: I have no idea of the condition of the starter or generator)
•Generator mounting bracket
•Fuel filler well
•Fuel tank - needs to have a section of skin replaced and given a good cleaning.
•Radio power jack with cable, located by pax seat
•Radiator
- I forget what else... Ask if you are looking for something.
I also have a parts jeep with a good frame, tub, fenders, grill, headlights and twin blackout lights, grill, bumper, etc. that I will be parting out unless somebody wants to rebuild the whole thing. Many of the parts listed above are from it.

The tub is in pretty good shape according to a restoration guy who looked at it. Not rusted out, but needs a few repairs and needs to have the wrinkles ironed out. I only have a couple of pix but can get some more if you're interested. [/URL]
Actually, the body is in better shape overall than the one on my Jeep before I started my restoration. Truthfully, I'm a little reluctant to part with it but my wife tells me I don't need two M38A1's.
I am located in the THUMB of Michigan - where are you at?

Would you be willing to part with those front bumper lifting brackets?
