It only takes 10-15 Minutes to remove the rocker arms and carburetor, the engine remains hot enough to do a retorque.
Valves are adjusted cold, what little heat left in the engine will not bother the intake valve adjustment. There are only four and you can be sneaky and do them with the engine idling. Intakes are 0.018" on the "F"-Head.

Just got back from a 15 mile mountain drive. running great. I used a napa head gasket "felpro" ? copper coat and permatex 2 on bolts.Don't ever remember bolts going like 1 turn on a re tourque.
