oil pressure sending unit

Post by mikeabn » Sat Mar 14, 2015 11:35 am

I have tested my oil pressure gage by grounding the wire to the gage and the gage works. I assume the sending unit is malfunctioning so I am now looking for a replacement sending unit.
The manual gives a part number of 728856 which I can find but this is for a 0-120 gage. I have a 0-60 so I need a part number and possibly a source where I might find one,
Thanks

There are two senders for 60# Gauge, Willys 808567 ORD# 7934231 with Douglas Connector, and Willys 929612 ORD# ?, Packard Connector I don't have it right in front of me, but 60 LBS will be stamped on the side just below the 60 LBS marking. You do not have to match connectors as you can make a short jumper with Packard on one end and Douglas on the other to make it work. The 60#OP Senders from a Multifuel will work.
