M38A1 Tools

Post by JB » Thu Mar 05, 2015 8:13 am

Dad bought a bunch of surplus jeeps in the 70's fortunately for me he kept the tools before selling the jeeps. I found these in storage and plan on displaying with my M38a1. Any suggestions on removing cosmoline?Image

I've always used gasoline and a brush. Otherwise, mineral spirits should work, too.

Digging up a bit of an old thread here: JB - what markings, manufacture, etc. are identified on the crescent wrench and the pliers?
