I have just been given an opportunity that may be too good to turn down.
Just connected with a girl I knew in high school (1977), went to a party at her house in the country my senior year. In the driveway was a jeep shaped vehicle covered in a tarp. Turns out it is her Dad's 1954 M-38A1. He asked if I wanted to drive it..... my first time to drive an Army Jeep!! This of course led to my 35 year Green Disease.
In getting in touch with her I asked what ever happened to the Jeep, she said... it is disassembled in her Dad's garage for the last 25 years to be restored. Never going to happen and she said he may sell it to me.
My question is, what's is it worth? There is no rust and it is complete, just in pieces.
Thanks guys for the input.

Re: M38-A1 from my past
It all depends on how complete, condition, how rare of a model it is and how much you want it. With the info you gave, I sold a similar one a few months back for $1,100 including most of my extra parts. That being said, I would say $500 - $2,000 not being in a drivable condition.
