Question about Marine Corps 38a1

Post by dcartledge » Tue Jul 08, 2014 7:32 am

I have a 1962 Marine Corps contract 38a1.

Is there a good source for the color schemes inside the engine compartment and any other peculiarities?

Mnay thanks.

Marine Corps vehicles came from the factory with MC #23 Marine Corps Green on the valve cover engine and air intake on the breather some oil filters had black canister's as well as the oil bath air cleaner, generator, starter, distributer, fan shroud and radiator. After maintenance at a depot such as Albany or Barstow everything was green...including plug wires and electrical wires etc. Hope this helps
