i am going on the next mvpa convoy,and taking a 1955 m170 and mounting a pintle hook,should be alright with ft/bk sway bars,anyone tried that,thanks jim

I'm not sure what you mean by sway bars for a M100, sway bars are usually used to stabilize very heavy and large trailers, not dinky, short little cargo trailers. My M416 pulls very nice behind my M38A1 and I also pull it around behind my pickup truck at highway speeds both using a pintle hook. The M416 is a bouncy unit when it is unloaded, you have to be a little careful over rough roads.

M-170 is softer sprung than the M-38A1 and has front and rear swaybars. M-100 behind an M-170 will not cause any concern, and the M-100 will be right at home behind a Jeep.
