Any Virginia M38A1 gear heads out there

Postby Jeeperdd » Fri Mar 02, 2012 2:40 pm

I"m new to the site. I've been into the newer style jeeps mostly. But I recently stumbled upon a 54 M38A1 and a lot of parts. I there anyone close by that knows about these things?
thanks
Dustin

I'm in NC, but my M38A1 came from VA.
There is a Jeep show coming up in Petersburg 4/28.
The 4th Annual Virginia Willys Jeep Thing.
Can probably get some VA contacts fhere.
I will post information on events forum soon.
I have a flyer I can email to you.
It's listed in JP magazine and usually on Willys Tech and Jeep Chasm.com.

Welcome and good luck.
Virgina has 2 MVPA Affilate groups.
Check online.

Hey All,
I'm also near the richmond area. I'm looking for parts jeep to help get mine back up to running order. I've got a '53 USMC 38A1. Glad to see other people in the area have an interest in this stuff.

Glen Harrington in Petersburg, VA is having his Jeep show again this year.
the 4th Annual Virginia Willys Jeep Thing on April 28th.
http://www.willystech.com/parts/messages/33682.shtml

Contact Glen for flyer and map for directions.

I need to put this in Upcoming Events, as soon as I figure out to upload the flyer.

Hope to see you all there.

Thanks,

Dave

Hey Dave,
yeah, Glenn sent me the email. Apparenty a buddy of mine who owns a M151 was friends with him and "introduced" (gave him my contact info) me to him and he has been a great help with info regarding my A1. Maybe you could upload the flyer to this thread or start a new thread?

Crap... it won't accept a pdf or text file for an upload. If anyone needs the contact info or PDF file with directions, just let me know and I'll email it to you.
