Driving up the landing craft ramp ? Yes it looks like a Ben Hur towed by a jeep.

Also interesting for me were 2 very short sequences showing dismantled Piper L-4 Cubs on GMC trucks.
One at the beginng showing one abandoned on Omaha - you can easily see the invasion stripes.
Interesting for me as in 2004 a friend in Norway restored an L-4, flew it to Normandy, and actually landed on the sand at Omaha on the 6th June 2004.
I was there in my WC-52 and they stayed down for just long enough to refuel, and then had to scramble due to the fast incoming tide.
Tokk off in one direction, flying low, while a whole string of C-130s flew at a few hundred feet in the other direction.
A sight never to be forgotten. Before the days of digital cameras but the good old paper snapshots bring back the memory.

They used the jeeps to get the Ben-Hur trailers up onto the LC, then turned them around, backed up the truck and hitched up the Ben-Hur to the truck again.
