in my clinic i have a number of ww2 vets and down to the last one they are outstanding people. this is a picture a patient of mine was kind enough to let me copy. he would have it no other way than for me to take his photo album home. i couldn't believe he would entrust such a treasure to me. i was so worried something would happen to his album it was a relief to put it back in his hands. with his permission i thought i would share them as well.

No I doubt it. It could be Florida, Georgia, Louisiana or South Carolina. My guess would be Florida or Georgia. If you know what outfit he was in then it could be fairly easy to get the location.

That is Bilibid prison in the Philipines. Watch the film and you will see that gate.

The prison was liberated on Feb-4-1944 by the 148th infantry regiment that was part of the 37th infantry division that was an Ohio national guard unit activated in 1940. Made up of Ohio and Michigan men. Do you know where he was from?

Here is their history, those first pics were either in Misssissippi or Louisiana. They were in the thick of it.

I left out that Mississippi and Alabama are between Georgia and Louisiana didn't I?

They were all over the Pacific if he was in the 148th. At least 6 Islands by my read of the history. I think the tank pics were probably outside Manila but the landing pics could be any Island they went to.
