That sure looks like a Jeep throttle pedle, throttle foot rest and starter switch.

I've read somewhere that some of the Army Posts in occupied Germany would hold contests for GI's with nothing else to do,(Tio keep them out of trouble) to take a scrap G503, and make some "Custom" vehicle from them. Usually, it would involve a body swap as seen above. I think the pics were in a French "Jeep" picture book I bought back in the 80's.

Maybe this is the origin of the "Jeep King"?
