Re: Jeeps Partially Uncrated
Is that a deflector on the front of the hood, factory fitted?
Would that date the Jeep?
Or were they always factory fitted (I've not seen many)

Re: Jeeps Partially Uncrated
At page 53 of John Farley's book "The Standerdised War-Time Jeep" part 2, there is a sharp full page image of the same picture, were you can see all the details.
The USA number of this jeep is U.S.A. 2088562.

Hi fellows!
The Asociacion Argentina de Coleccionistas de Vehiculos Militares http://www.aacvm.com.ar" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; looking to build the crate where the jeep moved and need measures and details of the wooden crate. Any drawing of how to build it?
The jeep that we will introduce in a 1943 Ford GPW
Thanks in advance!

Re: Jeeps Partially Uncrated
Read Lloyd White's Volume One closely, study other publications for WWII packing procedures for crated vehicles, note where preservative is to be applied when preparing vehicles for crating.
