MBP-4301UT Starter End Play

Looking for the end play tolerances for the MBP-4301UT starter. Can you help? Thanks in advance.

Could it be .010 to .020? I found this spec for an autolite starter used on an old tractor...just guessing. Thanks

Last question. I don't have a travel gage for the pinion to adjust the yoke lever stop. In the absence of the gage, couldn't I measure the travel distance of the pinion Bendix and adjust accordingly? If so, what is that measurement? Thanks
