crankshaft pulley

Post by chucks_toy » Thu Nov 30, 2017 2:04 pm

I have to remove the pulley on the crankshaft due to it wobbling. What is the best way to remove this pulley? I did not see any way to attach a puller. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's wobbling because they are made out of stampings and often riveted together. I use a 3 leg gear puller that hooks onto the OD of the pulley. It might warp or distort it more, which is why Midwest Mil makes a solid steel machined one.
