No, and neither the eyes. M-38 Spring Eyes are 1" either end, MB/GPW is smaller at the pivot.

Ok, thanks; I will buy new ones for the 38 if I can't use those on my shelf.

Ok, what about the spring shackles and their bearings? I think they are the same as MB, am I right? Left front and right have LH threads and are the same as WW2.

MB/M-38 shackles are installed in same order on both Jeeps, it's the pivot ends that are different, MB Pivot bushings are smaller in OD and do not fit the M-38. The M-38 uses "silent Bloc Bearings that have a 7/16" bolt, You can install M-38 Pivot Brackets on your MB in order to install M-38 Springs.

If you are installing M-38 Springs on MB, I have the parts to adapt pivot bushings. Gotta look to see if I still have any, am positive I have the parts.. Can't check to Wed.
