this became an interesting thread...thought I'd look to see how many extras of this screw I have...6..looked at my m38 and lo and behold all 6 of mine are wrong.. :oops: only owned it for 30 years...right size,washer..wrong head.

It's one of those pieces of minutiae that make restorations interesting. But it is not one for debate like so many others. It is well documented.
