Just back from Abrahams Automotive Machine Shop; notice anything strange about this picture? Engine is RMC 56789 and all the parts came off it.

I see a WWII era head a non M-38 front plate, and a bunch of new parts to install.

Remember, the Mounting pattern of the M-38 front plate is not only specific, the provision for the rubber front generator bushing is also unique only to M-38 (M-38A1)

See you are the only one who noticed out of the 37 guys who looked at it; this M38 engine had been in an MB at one time; fortunately I have a correct plate from another RMC engine, which I just removed today.

What you have is found in 60's era PE-95 Depot Rebuilds. I have one that I have retrofitted as a spare for my MB. It has 90 hours. Will probably never need it.
