Stars

Post by old man » Sun Sep 10, 2017 6:57 pm

I have been seeing a lot of different placements of the Star on the hood and the rotation of them. some manual I was going over I thought it stated the star should point to the front of the vehicle and not obstructed by the windshield when it is down. but I see many with the star pointing back at the wind shield. these are photos I found on line for examples.

The National Symbol (star) has one point facing FORWARD on US Army vehicles. The US Air Force star pointed towards the rear. The M151A1 in the picture is correctly marked. The A2 below it has the star wrongly positioned (among other things). :D
