Need help with Canvas

Post by DBHIGHLANDER » Thu Oct 16, 2014 3:36 pm

HELP! My wife decided to wash the back seat covers on my MUTT . She put them through the washing machine and they crumbled and ripped. Is there a place where I can buy the correct canvas , She is a seamstress with several Machines so she can sew new covers.

Can't help with the canvas but I do have a question. Does anyone know where I can get patterns for the seat covers? My wife is also a seamstress and can sew new seat covers IF she can get the patterns.

Try here: http://jeep.mag.free.fr/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=1

It is in French language, under technique you can find patterns needed. It's is in metric size.

You mat want to take a look at a GI canvas shelter half. Great canvas and probably very close to the weight canvas you want.

Here you go Webbing Web actully makes all the canvas items you need for your MUTT. He sells the canvas as well. I just bought the whole set (both seat bottoms, backs and rear bottom and back and all straping) from him and they do good work.

Here is another supplier:

If I would have seen this post I could have worked a deal with you guys because I had all the orginal seat cushions that were worn and torn a bit that you could have gotten measurments from. I threw then all out :(
