I just got to this old post. I wouldn't want to use those flashing white lights on the back as hazard lights on the side of the road. You will blind oncoming drivers...
Also, how is it driving at night with these on? with the hood all lit up and/or blinking. Have you put a "shelf" under the bar to keep the light off the hood?

Driving at night is amazing, but there is a lot of reflection off of the hood like you say. I've considered putting a "shelf" or deflector just to keep some of the light off of the hood.
