up-armored Doors
Would anyone be interested in up-armored doors?
I plan on turning my current project HMMWV into an M1151 and just wanted to see who else might be interested in them.
I plan on using MILA46100 Ballistic Steel and creating all body panels using the same.
If you wan't it just for looks I can make it out of aluminum too. I have access to a full CNC machine shop.
Please let me know if it is something that interests you at all.
And Just a little about me. I am new to G503 however have been around on Steel Soldiers for a while.

Re: up-armored Doors
I used to have a stack of the door armor pictured above. We need flat door to use those, which requires a wider roof.

Those roofs are available new as are the sponsons if you know where to get them. A little pricy though. If you still have some of those doors, i would be interested.

To the OP... have you done any suspension upgrades? if you are looking at adding that much weight for the doors, I'm a little concerned about your clearance, center of gravity, braking, etc... just looks like you might be pushing the weight...?
