Hummerfication has begun
I temporarily placed the Hummer 12 volt Heated windshields into my Humvee Window Frame and hot wired the harness. They do heat up so now I just have to make a few splices to allow for placement of the Relays, fuses and switch in positions that work in the Humvee.

I was able to do a bit more work on the 12 volt Heated Windshield install. I need to mount the Two Fuses, Two Relays and the Switch and circiut board assy as seen below.
I have already installed a civi Washer Bottle Bracket as pictured below.
I installed long bolts, the shiny ones, in the above foto, to allow me to attach a flat piece of aluminum on the inside of the footwell. This flat plate will be where I mount the relays, and fuses for the Windshields and most other electrical items tha I will add to my vehicle. At least any that are located in this area or are switched there. There is more work to do though, like figuring out where to put any items and where to place 12 and 24 volt battery power studs and accessory power studs.
This last foto shows the Windshield Heat Switch in its place near the bottom of the dash board.

That splash shield is made that way. I need to raise it up three inches higher than normal and install another below it to allow for complete coverage, so the area that is not existant on this one (the area that covers the bottom of the brake booster/master cyl) is not a problem and I don't have to cut it out either.

I did a bit more work on the heated windshield install. I had a bit of a problem finding a suitable enclosure for the wire connections in the area of the center windshield pillar. I needed to enclose the connectors and some length of wire where the windshield pigtails attach to the wire harness. The wire harness will exit from the hole near the base of the Pillar as seen below.
I tried many different sorts of enclosures and found the fit of this one to be the best and if properly installed, it also allowed for quick access to the internal connections.

I think my final solution is better than what the military did, because it is lower in profile.

Hi Alex, The foto is a little deceptive in that it dosen't show the forward side of the heater duct. It is sloped and allows for enough access to the lower screws if it would ever be necessary to open the "connection box" in the future.

I don't know, because these came from AMG via Paul Moeller as part of the wire harness. They should be commercially available though.
