Never seen a 12v blackout with F

Post by Peterdodge6volt » Mon Oct 23, 2017 11:35 am

Hi all
Yesterday I when to pickup parts from Ian jeep parts shop for my GPW engine rebuilt.
I look through all the light and blackout as well I need for jeep and dodge. Came across and found a NOS 6v red oval stop/tail and has an F stamp on the back and 2 12v blackout stop with F on the back as well.
This is my first time saw this on 12v with F and red 6v with with F on the back.
I seen to many 6v blackout stop and tail with The F on the back .
I am thinking the 12v blackout stop with an F on the back is for the GPA

Ian also show me his collections on the display shelf he bought all NOS GPW parts from 1968, how amazing ian collection he show me a NOS GPW amp gauge seal in a box with F on it and a 6v seelite with F on the back of the reflector.

So I stop looking at his collection as it was hurting me.

Had a little talk with other jeep visitors getting parts as well.
So Brought home a few NOS 12v blackout with an F stamp for my collection.

I never seen a 12v with F stamp until now that I didn't know they make them with the F on 12volt

Has anyone had a 12v lights with an F stamp which I missed or do not know about it.

Cheers peter

Which one are you after.
The front blackout driving lights or the rear blackout stop.

Peter
Yep, the GPAs used them. I have a full set of GPA 'F' marked 12v tail lights on my GPW.
