A bit off topic, but...

Hello all, I have used several Pertronix electronic Ignition Modules and they work great. Immediately, I noticed better start up and acceleration than with points. However, I acknowledge they aren't for the purist MB or GPW owner. Below is a link to a post I made several years ago.

I swear by them and will continue to use them in all my restorations.

Chaps,

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread but I was wondering if it's necessary to modify the distributor & / or the distributor cap to fit this item?

From the pictures I can't tell how the cable boot passes through the distributor body.

Many thanks,

Mick.
