I was thinking because it had hooks and rings that it might be #16 but it does not have the raised sides.

Anyone know what number this tug is?

There is another in Belgium and Jacco just had to sit in it. :P I would have sat there but there wasn't enough room behind the wheel for my big belly.

What's the story with these, alot in Europe, only a few made? Were these sent to Europe during the war for in theater field trials?

Was TUG #13 the one Frank Buck had and then sold on EBAY a few years ago?

Jaaps' TUG is Frank Bucks' old tug.
Jaaps' is very nice as it is unrestored. I have driven it, interesting.
They are an interesting side history on early jeeps, not a true WW2 combat jeep though.

I didn't realize the seating was so tight in the TUG. It's a big vehicle yet Jacco's knees are up higher than when sitting in an M422 Mite!
